Update from the Peninsula

As the signs of spring are showing in north-east asia, members of the seoul chapter have been finding leisure on the eastern ski slopes of korea. A total of 16 qsls members and affiliates made the officially sanctioned event on feb. 11-12. Members become rather horny for the hills the previous week as we experienced only our second snowfall of the year on tuesday, leaving seoul covered in 10 cm of fresh pow pow, and leaving brother burke riding the subway for only his third time. When the third snowfall hit on the thursday prior, members knew the event was going to be epic...

Roll call saturday morning 8:00 am Express Bus Terminal saw only one member absent, brother mike gilbert, who was entertaining an old korean university mate on hooker hill the previous night. Fueled with Kalhua and coffee, soju, and pitchers to go, the korean chapter attacked the hill with style, speed, and skills yet unseen on the peninsula.

The Hot Dog Award went to Alex "The Guard Show" Gardiner
Garage Sale of the Year was taken by Butch "Slalom" Mallory
Female and Male Rookie of the Year Awards were taken by Helen "of course i'm gonna" Jammer and Gaza "it's not my fault, i'm enlgish" Jackson
Rusty the Clown award was given to Matt "grew up playing hockey" Steeves
The Big Air Competion was Taken by Pat "180" Nussy
And Finally the Pokaroo Award was Given to Mike Gilbert who spent a 180,000 won(180$) cab fair to make the apres ski sauna and scoff.

Upcoming Sanctioned Events include the Hae Bon Chon Track and Field Championships.
"Bringing Down the House" Year end party of Camp Canada,(i.e. the closing of our haebangchon abode, sure to give our ajachi one last night of "Boom Boom SSteerressee")
As well as our weekly sanctioned Poker nights.
The Seoul chapter continues to register some of the highest leisure quotionts on the planet, combined with some of the lowest posting stats. We make no apologies for this, as we are just to damn F*$#ing busy spreading the good word.
Leisure On.
